I asked twenty-four people which of the three double page spread layout designs they would prefer to look at.  Out of the twenty-four people 50% said that they prefered the first layout design, the green titled layout, because of the proportions of images to text and title.  Although 25% of people said that they prefered the second layout design because of the large image that covered an entire page and the fact that it overlapped the title of the article.   Another 25% of people said that they would like to see the third layout design of the double page spread because of the way the text is spread out on both of the pages rather then being in one big block.

 

This means that for my final layout design for the double page spread I willl base it on the first design that I did because that is the one that the majority of the people that I asked said that they would prefer to see in my music magazine.
